Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist to manage all inbound and outbound inventory, ensuring shelves are stocked and merchandise flow is efficient. You will guarantee accuracy of inventory in the system and maintain organized stock rooms to support store sales goals.

You will train and coach staff on inventory processes, uphold loss prevention standards, and contribute to a positive customer experience through accurate replenishment and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards.
• Ensure merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and compliant with ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving to the sales floor.
• Input freight information accurately through systems.
• Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per policies.
• Educate and coach sales team on inventory control processes.
• Maintain productivity to meet UPH targets.
• Keep stock room neat and compliant with guidelines.
• Adhere to laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork.
