Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Requires 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and liability insurance.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise and cash by physical count with handheld device.
• Notify store manager of wrong prices and remove out-of-code items.
• Count and record cash, checks, and food stamps in registers and safes.
• Verify money orders, lottery inventory, and bank deposits.
• Verify gasoline inventory by testing tanks for water.
• Conduct surveys to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Work safely by following procedures and regulations.
• Work independently with little supervision.
