Job summary

Comcast Corporation's Xfinity Mobile Arena seeks a motivated merchandising intern to assist in visual displays, store operations, and ecommerce tasks. You will support Flyers/76ers and XMA initiatives, working closely with retail staff during game nights and events.

This internship offers hands-on experience in inventory management, reporting, and vendor coordination, with on-site duties and exposure to digital and creative teams.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in visual merchandising and retail operations is a plus
• Familiarity with ecommerce and online customer service processes

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in creating visual displays and store setups.
• Flip stores between teams and assist with store operations.
• Manage inventory and generate inventory and sales reports.
• Upload new items to the Ecommerce site and fulfill online orders.
• Respond to Ecommerce customer service emails.
• Coordinate with departments for special requests and vendor communications.
• Provide on-site support during XMA events and ensure merchandise is counted and distributed.
• Ensure each stand has supplies and communicate with event managers regarding contacts.

The Xfinity Mobile Arena is one of the world’s busiest arenas, home of the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Villanova University basketball, family shows and concerts. Since opening in 1996, the arena is the centerpiece of sports and entertainment in the greater Philadelphia region as well as prominently featured in the national spotlight. The 21,000-seat arena is a showcase arena for the company’s industry-leading qualities as an operator and an innovator in the live event experience.

Job Summary

This position will directly report to the Manager, Retail and work on projects related to visual merchandising, buying, and more, while also supporting the entire retail staff on all department operations. In addition, this intern will have a crucial role during game nights and events.

Core Responsibilities

FLYERS/76ERS

• Collaborate in creating visual displays and set ups for stores
• Work with staff to flip stores between teams
• Assist with store operations
• Assist with inventory management and run inventory and sales reports
• Upload new items to the Ecommerce site
• Fulfill online Ecommerce orders
• Respond to Ecommerce customer service emails
• Collaborate with departments to fulfill special needs and item requests
• Work with digital and creative teams to proof information on graphics for sales and special announcements
• Assist with vendor communications
• Research market trends in sports merchandise
• Assist in creating power point approvals

XFINITY MOBILE ARENA

• Provide on-site support during XMA events, including but not limited to counting merchandise in, distributing merchandise, counting out merchandise.
• Ensure each stand has all supplies including grid, tables, devices, price signs, and ask for signs.
• Communicate with event managers to get tour merchandise contacts

Compensation

Base Pay: $15.00 Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
