Job summary

Walmart is expanding its maintenance team in Spring Hill, FL and seeks a Developmental Technician specializing in Refrigeration and HVAC. You will perform routine maintenance to keep store facilities and equipment safe, functional, and presentable under supervision.

You will work with a variety of crafts, document work orders, and respond to emergencies. The role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hold a valid, state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders frequently, work at heights, and endure varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist or perform tasks under supervision of an experienced technician.
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use work order system to manage repairs and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

EPA Type I/II Refrigerant Certification
