Job summary

Champion Homes is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Retail Division in Jackson, MS. You will collaborate with leaders to shape people strategies that drive growth, strengthen employee relations, and lead recruiting and onboarding across locations.

You will advise on performance management, compliance with labor laws, and HR programs, while promoting a high-performing culture and data-driven decisions for workforce improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience including employee relations, investigations, performance management, and full-cycle recruiting.
• Experience supporting multi-location retail or fast-paced environments preferred.
• Proven ability to lead recruiting and onboarding across all levels and build talent pipelines.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, including UKG/UltiPro, plus strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on employee and labor relations, performance management, and engagement to support objectives.
• Investigate employee issues, document findings, and recommend compliant solutions.
• Advise managers on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations while mitigating risk.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding across all levels.
• Administer HR policies, ensure legal compliance, and promote consistent HR practices.
• Lead onboarding, training, and development initiatives, coaching managers.
