Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Associate for our Atlanta, GA location. This hourly, full-time role focuses on welcoming guests, processing transactions, and maintaining merchandising on the sales floor.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, contribute to a guest-first culture, and participate in store trainings while upholding the organization’s standards and teamwork values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement.
• Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift (16–17 not allowed).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a professional, people-first attitude with guests.
• Assist with merchandising and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Upsell merchandise and assist with round-up during transactions.
• Communicate effectively with management and peers.
• Support safety and security practices and attend trainings.
