Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a full-time Retail Associate to work in Athens. You will greet guests, handle transactions, and help keep the store welcoming and organized. This role requires strong communication, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgement.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift (16–17 not allowed).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver exceptional brand experience.
• Maintain professional, people-first attitude with guests.
• Transition merchandise to sales floor with attention to detail and urgency.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies.
• Suggest upsells and process transactions at the point of sale.
• Collaborate with management and peers; communicate clearly.
• Follow training materials and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and store floor.
