Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a store teammate in Downers Grove to assist customers, perform golf club repairs and fittings, and support daily store operations. You will recommend products and services aligned with customer needs while maintaining high brand standards and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15-35 lbs occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Performs golf club repairs, including re-gripping and re-shafting with loft and lie adjustments.
• Performs club fitting and performance modifications using fitting equipment.
• Provides product and service recommendations according to customer needs.
• Manages workflow for all customer services and establishes turnaround times.
• Promotes Company programs (Warranty Sales, Scorecard, Private Label Credit Card).
• Manages golf service inventory and tracks shop usage.
• Completes, organizes, and stores customer work orders.
• Delivers high levels of customer service within the golf area.
• Maintains merchandise presentation and inventory levels on the sales floor.
• Upkeeps recovery and cleanliness standards.
• Adheres to safety, loss prevention policies and confidentiality.
• Supports the team across the store.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

OVERVIEW

• Performs golf club repairs, including but not limited to, re-gripping, re-shafting, loft and lie adjustments.

• Performs club fitting and club performance modifications through use of club fitting equipment.

• Provides product and service recommendations according to customer's needs.

• Manages workflow for all customer services including establishing turn-around times to meet customer's needs.

• Consistently promotes Company programs including Warranty Sales, Scorecard, Private Label Credit Card, etc.

• Manages golf service supply inventory by accurately tracking shop usage.

• Completes, organizes, and stores all customers' work orders.

• Provides a high level of customer service within the golf area.

• Upholds Company standards for merchandise presentation by ensuring that product is on the sales floor to proper inventory levels and is maintained to daily standards.

• Maintains and participates in all recovery and cleanliness standards.

• Adheres to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.

• Takes an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.

• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).

• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Targeted Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
