OVERVIEW
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

SERVICES:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect by using diplomacy and tact; ensure that customers are greeted and acknowledged; offer customers assistance as needed or requested.
  • Aide customers by ascertaining their needs and directing them to the golf services area that most effectively meets their needs.
  • Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge to pass on to our customers by learning about new technologies, products and services.
  • Support store services sales by performing athlete club fittings and repairs.
  • Is a certified club fitter that provides excellent direct and indirect customer service to align with company programs.
  • Make equipment recommendations tailored to the customer.
OPERATIONS
  • Assist in achieving the store shrinkage goal by ensuring that all merchandise used for display is properly handled and accounted for at all times.
  • Assist with checking merchandise, service, and repair equipment, amongst other materials arriving to the store in a timely fashion, confirming quantities, condition, etc.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.
  • Maintain and participate in all recovery and cleanliness standards.
  • Create an inclusive in store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years of retail experience preferred
  • Golf industry experience preferred
  • Golf fitting experience preferred

Targeted Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. DICK'S Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements.
