Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Full-Time Selling Floor Supervisor in Matteson, IL. As Retail Front End Supervisor, you will lead store operations, coach teams, and partner with management to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You should have at least one year of supervisory experience in off-price or big-box environments, be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and lift up to 40 lbs. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Solve issues/concerns, making informed decisions and supervising the front-end operations to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortages.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drives Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitors schedule adherence.
