Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Ephrata, PA is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to handle cash register duties and front-end tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to shoulder height and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely per productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the store, bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Process sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
