Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to direct department associates in merchandising, customer service, and daily operations. You will implement pricing strategies, manage inventories, and coordinate with management for staffing and training.

The role emphasizes superior customer service, product knowledge, and leadership to drive sales and a positive team environment. A High School diploma and 2–4 years in retail are required, with supervisory experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years in Retail Sales experience is expected.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the department associates daily and ensure service quality.
• Merchandise presentation, pricing, and plan-o-grams per Corporate directives.
• Lead staffing, training, and scheduling with HR input.
• Provide product knowledge demonstrations to staff and customers.
• Assist in coordinating events and promotions; maintain pricing and UPC accuracy.
• Handle escalations with GSM/DM and HR to resolve issues.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and store standards.
