Job summary

Buckle is hiring a Freight Coordinator to support daily operations, including receiving shipments, preparing items for resale, and maintaining backroom organization. You will handle packing, tagging, and shelving tasks while ensuring smooth store flow and presentation.

The role requires comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs, a flexible schedule, and basic POS software familiarity. Prior experience is not required, and employee benefits apply after waiting periods.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, mornings/evenings/weekends including holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check that transfers are processed through the register and match what you are shipping out.
• Fold items and box them properly for shipping; add presentation quality packaging.
• Place Sensormatic tags on each garment in the designated place.
• Hang and fold merchandise for the sales floor and steam when necessary.
• Assist on floor projects and maintain a neat, clean, organized work area.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of POS software and processes.
• Receive freight boxes and store transfers through the register.
