Job summary

Ollie’s Stores in Niles, OH is hiring a Receiving Specialist to assist with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor.

You will help with freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations, with opportunities to train new associates.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude to serve customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Ability to work morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
