Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Abilene, TX is seeking a Receiving Specialist to assist with receiving, processing and moving merchandise from delivery to the floor. You will handle freight, merchandising, maintain the receiving area and support store operations.

Evening and weekend shifts are required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. A strong team attitude and reliability are essential for success in this role at Ollie’s.

Internal Job Title: Receiving Specialist

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
