Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a Retail Manager to oversee three retail spots with a combined annual volume of $8.9 million, reporting to the Director of Dining Services. You will drive operations for patient and visitor dining, ensuring high standards across all sites in the Chicago area.

Key duties include events, cash controls, payroll, hiring and training hourly staff, customer satisfaction, staff leadership, and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred; or Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
• 1–3 years of retail foodservice management experience (based on education/training)
• Strong knowledge of foodservice operations, including quality, production, sanitation, cost control, marketing, and presentation
• Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services preferred
• Background in cash-handling retail environments
• Retail marketing experience highly desirable
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of financial, budgeting, and accounting practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications

Job Summary

As the Retail Manager , you will oversee the successful operation of retail and cafeteria services within Food & Nutrition Services, reporting directly to the Director of Dining Services. In this role, you will manage three retail locations with a total annual volume of $8.9 million.
