Job summary

Marshalls in Brick, NJ is seeking a team member to maintain a clean and organized store environment with emphasis on floor care. You will operate a scrubber and buffer, handle dust/mopping, and support various store areas to meet business needs.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to multi-task, and reliable communication with colleagues. A flexible schedule and physical stamina are essential for daily responsibilities in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Retail customer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with focus on floor care.
• Operate scrubber and buffer; dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot clean glass/windows.
• Follow operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards; support multiple store areas as needed.
• Model excellent customer experience with both internal and external customers.
• Provide coverage across Front End, Backroom, Sales Floor, and other areas as required.
• Uphold health and safety policies and participate in safety initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with management and associates; follow policies on meal/break periods.
• Contribute to store recovery and loss prevention efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
