Job summary

Scheels is seeking a Store Development Retail Planner to manage fixture and shop development across existing stores from our Fargo corporate office. You’ll analyze retail design trends, coordinate with contractors, and negotiate with suppliers to optimize store layouts.

You will travel to Scheels locations for visits and remodeling projects, collaborating with Marketing and store leadership. An associate degree is preferred and AutoCAD/Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business, construction management, or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Gmail; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and Scheels experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with corporate office and stores on fixture and shop development.
• Collaborates with contractors and architects on store development.
• Reviews pricing from suppliers and negotiates best prices.
• Travel to Scheels locations for visits, remodeling, and new stores.
• Develops budgets and timelines for projects.
• Assist with space planning and fixture development in AutoCAD.
