Job summary

Excel InStore is seeking a Project Manager for an on-site role in Maple Grove, MN. You will manage custom retail fixtures, displays, signage, and related products from initiation through completion, coordinating with designers, engineers, production teams, and clients to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of PM experience in visual merchandising or related manufacturing, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience in visual merchandising, retail fixture, display, or related manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate project specifications and drawings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through production, delivery, installation, and closeout.
• Partner with clients, designers, engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders to clarify scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans and schedules for custom fixtures, displays, signage, and related products.
• Lead kick-off meetings, provide status updates, and drive projects to timely completion.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, resources, and risks; take action to keep projects on track.
