Job Summary
The Sales Associate assists customers in purchasing company products and services while ensuring a positive shopping experience. The role includes customer service, inventory support, and maintaining ATF-compliant paperwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of customer service for internal and external customers.
- Address customer and employee issues and communicate matters to management.
- Assist with inventory movement to and from the warehouse and sales floor.
- Promote a positive culture within the department and store.
- Work with customers to ensure a satisfactory shopping experience.
- Handle inbound calls and provide accurate information.
- Collect and process required paperwork and forms in compliance with ATF guidelines, ensuring data accuracy.
- Maintain required paperwork.
- Quote prices and describe product features.
- Emphasize salable features, credit terms, and prepare sales orders.
- Stock products on the sales floor.
- Clean and organize work areas.
- Enforce safety, health, and security rules.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as required by management.

Qualifications
- Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Language Skills
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence; present information to customers and staff. - Mathematical Skills
Add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, decimals; compute rate, ratio, percent, interpret bar graphs. - Reasoning Ability

Physical Demands
The role requires frequent standing, walking, and using hands to handle merchandise. Employees regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs, often lift and/or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100lbs. Tasks include stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and handling tools such as step ladders.
Work Environment
Employees are exposed to moderate noise and may encounter explosives, moving mechanical parts, fumes, weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and dust. The environment can include heavy lifting and routine cleaning duties.
