Job summary

Mobile Technologies, INC. is seeking Flexible - Retail Field & Network Technicians to perform installations, upgrades and troubleshooting for retail security systems across various sites.

The role involves networked devices, RFID locks, access point management, and ensuring reliable connectivity for clients. Candidates should be able to travel, lift up to 60 lbs, climb ladders, and communicate effectively by phone, text, and email.

Responsibilities

• Installations, retrofits, repairs, break-fix and upgrades for retail security products.

• Travel to project locations and maintain equipment as required.
• Follow directions and use hand tools to complete installations.

Flexible - Retail Field &/or Network Technicians

Reports to: Territory Manager

Retail Field Technicians, Smart Lock Managed Access & Network Technicians encouraged to apply - Technicians handle a wide range of installations, Workstation's, Retrofits, repairs, break fix and upgrades for retail security products, including networks, networked devices, RFID smart locks , access point management programming & installation, routers, switches. They also set up and troubleshoot connections in various environments, connecting devices with physical cables or wireless frequencies to ensure adequate signal strength for clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle for Transportation to and from project locations.


• Previous IT or Related technical technician experience is required.


• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.


• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.


• Follow Direction easily


• Frequent use of hand tools.


• Travel is required in various markets.


• Lifting 60lbs or more.


• Able to climb up and down ladders.


• Testing networks Wi-Fi signals, heat mapping.


• Installing, troubleshooting access points, routers, switches.

Competency:

Required Education and Experience

• Over the age of 18.


• Certifications are a plus but not required.


• Lock experience a plus but not required


• All training is provided and paid.


• Travel time and Mileage provided
