Job summary

Acosta Group in Glendale, AZ is seeking a part-time Retail Coverage Merchandiser to perform merchandising, support client initiatives, and ensure product availability across stores. You will cover a territory, assist with launches and promotions, and maintain display and pricing accuracy.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, courteous, and able to work independently. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport; travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with tablets and web-based applications.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Cover a set territory of retail stores to perform merchandising and support client initiatives.
• Assist store managers with programs, including new product launches and promotions.
• Maintain full distribution and display, ensuring stock, pricing, and planogram compliance.
• Perform audits, check date codes, and ensure modular integrity.
• Collect and report data from store visits using a company tablet.
• Advocate for clients through sales opportunities and relationships with store personnel.
• Follow store policies while providing product expertise.
• Coordinate with management to meet objectives and report observations.
• Stand, walk, and work in stores for extended periods; comply with safety guidelines.
• Be aware of security protocols and reporting requirements; possible DoD reinvestigations.
