Bass Pro Shops in Manteca, CA, is hiring a General Maintenance associate to support store operations with preventive maintenance and supervision of contractors. The role requires broad building trades skills (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC) and a hands-on maintenance mindset.

The position emphasizes energy conservation, waste management, and facility upkeep, with starting pay rates and full-time benefits included. Prior maintenance experience and ability to supervise others are favored.

Formación

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or 1-2 year vocational training
• High mechanical ability
• Must also be willing to work with and oversee the work of others
• Verifiable experience in maintenance related work fields.

Responsabilidades

• Performs electrical repair; lamp changing, light fixture repair/installation.
• Performs plumbing repair: pump and fixture installations/replacements/repair, drain cleaning.
• Maintains basic understanding of commercial equipment operation and maintenance procedures for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
• Performs basic mechanical repair on tractors, forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment as required.
• Repairs the building: painting, wall repair, minor carpentry, floor repair.
• Performs periodic building operation tune ups to support energy conservation and waste management programs.
• Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.
• Completes preventive and reparative maintenance across trades.
• All other duties as assigned.
