Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician for our local store in Freehold, NJ. The role focuses on routine maintenance to keep facilities, equipment, and fixtures safe and functional. You will operate under the local General Maintenance Manager and follow established schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights frequently.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills and tools.
• Utilize work orders to receive and document repairs for Stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
