Job summary

SpartanNash is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician in Fargo, ND. You will maintain facilities and retail stores, ensuring safety and code compliance while repairing and replacing equipment and fixtures as needed.

The role supports remodels, new store openings, and maintains inventory of parts; strong communication and basic math/computer skills are required. Weekend work and overtime may be necessary in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
• Experience with food equipment strongly preferred.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal, to document maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities/retail stores to meet safety and code requirements.
• Repair and/or replace equipment and fixtures (floors, ceiling, walls, doors, cabinets, light bulbs).
• Assist management with remodels and new store openings.
