Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot in Warminster, PA is hiring a Facilities Associate to maintain a clean, safe store environment and support merchandising as needed.

You will vacuum, mop, report hazards, assist with stocking and pricing, and operate a cash register as required, with emphasis on safeguarding company property.

Qualifications

• Prior facilities experience is required.
• Experience working in a retail environment or in customer service is preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct maintenance and safety issues inside and outside the store.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and generally maintain floors and surfaces.
• Empty waste containers and dispose interior trash and debris.
• Check and maintain bathroom and breakroom supplies.
• Maintain approaches to buildings and keep debris away.
• Ensure all work areas are safe and properly stored.
• Ensure customers receive exceptional service on the sales floor and at the register.
• Assist merchandising tasks including stocking, displays, pricing, and operating a cash register.
• Perform duties with safeguarding of Company property.
