2020 Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to visit local retailers within Detroit MI, educate on client programs, and strengthen merchant relationships. This field-based role emphasizes in-person education, branding, and a superior customer experience across the territory.

You will be the face of the brand in the field, delivering program benefits, handling questions, and ensuring POS materials are current. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and MVR screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
