2020 Companies is hiring on behalf of our client, NRG, to recruit Retail Sales Associates with energetic personalities to join a team of Energy Pros. This Full-Time role offers immediate hire and a first sale bonus with paid training to help you succeed in promoting essential energy services.

You will work within your local retailer, engage customers about NRG electricity and gas, and help communities lower energy costs. Strong communication and teamwork are keys to progress and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience.
• Strong knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and services in retail store, kiosk, and event environments.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals monthly.
• Welcome customers and offer assistance.
• Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products.
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence.
• Accurately document and report sales.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations.
• Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable at all times.
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.
