Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for West Des Moines, IA and surrounding areas. You will complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory, ensuring proper placement and maintenance of promotional displays.

Ideal candidates have merchandising or retail experience, can work independently or with a small team, and have reliable internet access and a personal vehicle. Training is paid, and PTO accrues weekly as you work.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Versatility: handle all levels of merchandising work within territory.
• Attention to detail: follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and teamwork: work independently and with a small team when needed.
• Tech-ready: internet access and a Wi‑Fi/GPS device; laptop/desktop access is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Store Visits: complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory.
• Purpose: ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Scheduling: up to 20 hours/week, Mon–Fri, 8:00am–6:00pm; no weekends/evenings.
• Reporting: submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.

• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to 20 hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit
