Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Display Installer in Goleta, CA and the surrounding area. You will visit major retail stores within an assigned territory to set up and maintain displays for brand clients, including electronics and appliances.

The schedule is up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekends. You will report the results of each visit via digital surveys and photos.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow display diagrams.
• Comfort with travel within CA and possessing a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores within assigned territory to set up and maintain product displays.
• Submit digital surveys and photos for each store visit.
• Assist with installation and troubleshooting of promotional displays.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment;small and large home appliances;tablets & laptops;gaming consoles;home audio;and more
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to20hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Compensation:The wage range for this position is $22.00 to $22.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update, laptop/desktop access, and basic hand-held tools.
• Travel Ability:Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
