ActionLink is hiring a Part-Time Retail Display Installer in the Goleta, CA area. The role involves visiting major retail stores to set up and maintain product displays across a range of electronics and appliances, with a focus on accurate placement and troubleshooting.

You will report with photos and surveys from each visit. Qualifications emphasize prior merchandising/retail experience, reliability, and the ability to work independently or in a small team.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or 3PL is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle multiple merchandising tasks across stores within an assigned territory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow display diagrams.
• Able to work independently or with a small team.
• Must be tech-savvy with internet access and GPS-enabled device.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores within an assigned CA Goleta territory to set up and maintain product displays.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Represent clients like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel during store visits.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos after each store visit.
• Potential for more hours by covering larger regions or traveling.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment ; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**
• Scheduling: Up to 20 hours per week, availability requiredMonday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings**
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory**
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams**
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed**
• Tech-ready: Internet access, Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update, laptop/desktop access, and basic hand-held tools.
• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.**
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance**
