Job summary

ActionLink in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to support our clients by setting up and maintaining product displays at major retail stores within the assigned territory, including electronics, appliances, tablets, laptops, and more.

The role offers 15-25 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with paid training, travel reimbursement, a 401(k) with company match, and bi-weekly pay. You will report feedback with photos after each visit.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL or retail experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle all merchandising tasks within territory.
• Attention to detail following display diagrams.
• Comfortable working independently and with a small team.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores to set up and maintain product displays.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Represent clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos after each visit.
• Travel up to 15–25 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients' brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you'd be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!**
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**
• Scheduling: Up to 15-25 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings**
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory**
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams**
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed**
• Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus**
• Travel Ability: Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.**
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance**
