Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring at its HomeGoods locations in San Diego. This role focuses on receiving and merchandising while maintaining a superior customer experience and a clean, organized store environment.

You will train and mentor Associates, manage merchandise flow from trucks to the sales floor, and ensure proper tagging and stocking. Flexible schedules and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience
• 6 months leadership experience
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards; ensure Associates process efficiently and work as a team
• Maintain excellent customer experience by engaging customers and keeping store clean
• Organize truck deliveries and prioritize merchandise on the sales floor
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure flow of goods to the sales floor
• Monitor team productivity and coach as needed
• Maintain backroom organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards
• Support safety, labor law compliance, and adherence to policies
