Job summary

CloudIngest is seeking an experienced Retail Data Architect to re-architect enterprise data models and modernize platforms on GCP. You will design OLTP/OLAP data structures, support JSON-heavy datasets, and guide governance and metadata practices across the organization.

The role requires strong leadership, mentoring of junior engineers, and collaboration with onsite-offshore delivery teams to align retail workflows with modern data architecture.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Erwin Data Modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data models for OLTP and OLAP environments.
• Reverse engineer existing data models and transform to future-state architectures.
• Lead modernization initiatives and implement data governance.
• Evaluate DB2, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, and BigQuery on GCP for structured and unstructured data.
• Mentor junior data modelers and collaborate with onsite-offshore teams.
• Communicate across cross-functional teams to align with retail processes.
