About the Role

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) to lead our team and enhance the pet parent experience. This role involves driving store strategies, ensuring safety, maintaining store standards, and supporting pet adoptions and sales.

Responsibilities
  1. People Leadership: Support associate development, training, coaching, and performance reviews. Lead and support associates as acting Leader on Duty. Address grievances and recognize achievements.
  2. Store and Brand Experience: Manage pet parent interactions, coordinate store events, oversee pet adoptions, ensure store cleanliness, and operate POS systems. Maintain safety standards and support store opening/closing procedures.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Full-time availability, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to react under pressure, stay organized, and pay attention to detail.
Additional Information
  • No direct reports, but expected to guide and support other associates.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a moderate noise environment with pets.
