Job Summary

PetSmart’s Experience Lead (Retail Customer Service Supervisor) provides exceptional pet parent service, drives experience strategies, and oversees store safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement.

Essential Responsibilities

• Facilitate associate experience, training, onboarding, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Support store operations and delegate daily tasks.
• Lead and support associates as acting Leader on Duty.
• Address associate concerns and recognize engagement.
• Ensure excellent pet parent experience, handle inquiries, promote store events, and support pet adoptions.
• Manage online orders, POS operations, store standards, safety, and cleanliness.
• Assist in other departments as needed and follow company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail experience in customer-focused environment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Full-time availability, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications, strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Stand, walk, climb, handle objects, and reach frequently; lift up to 50 pounds regularly, more with team lifts.
• Work involves exposure to pet hair, noise, and live animals.
