Job summary

Family Dollar in San Antonio, TX is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred. Various general duties support store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and endure frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Assist with unloading trucks and replenishing stock.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
