Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and welcoming.

This part-time role requires a positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll collaborate with teammates to deliver a clean, safe shopping environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or grocery is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physically able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills.
• Able to work with diverse customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Handle sales transactions and operate the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock shelves and recover merchandise as needed.
• Assist with receiving, unloading trucks, and stock replenishment.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including restrooms.
• Provide friendly, professional interactions with customers and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
