Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring cashiers for a fast-paced retail environment. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate service while maintaining clean spaces and supporting various duties based on business needs. Training is provided, even if you have no prior experience.

We value flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to move between duties as needed in a busy travel-stop setting.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing cashier role requiring accuracy in transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with teamwork.
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with finding items and answering questions.
• Balance a cash register and process transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness in the store and deli areas.
• Clean direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and trash runs.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.


• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.


• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.


• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.


• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
