Love's Travel Stops in Canton, MS is hiring cashiers to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service in a high-volume environment. We value teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn across duties including deli, restrooms, and maintenance.

Training is provided for all new hires, with opportunities for growth within the Love's network. As a cashier, you will handle transactions, assist customers, and help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Basic food safety awareness and proper hygiene.
• Willingness to train and work across shifts.
• Ability to lift items and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers in locating items and answering questions.
• Balance and process transactions at the register while upselling when appropriate.
• Ensure food safety standards for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean and maintain the assigned work area, sales floor, and restrooms.
• Cross-train in departments such as Restaurant Services or Maintenance.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
