Job summary

Love's Travel Stops welcomes you to join our team as a cashier in a fast-paced environment focused on friendly, accurate service for customers. We teach you if you have no prior experience, and the role offers growth opportunities within a family-owned company.

We value flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to perform various duties as needed to support stores and customers. Training is provided to ensure excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning the direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
