Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Southaven, MS is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to assist customers, process transactions, and help stock the sales floor. You will engage with shoppers, answer questions, and uphold store standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will help maintain a clean, safe store, contribute to stock replenishment, and assist with unloading merchandise when needed, all while following store policies and delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks as needed.
• Ensure a safe, friendly store environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
