Job summary

Family Dollar in New Vienna, Ohio is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment; restrooms and floors cleaned.
• Perform other duties as assigned
