Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, keep the store stocked, and maintain a clean, safe environment across all areas of the store.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience in retail or related fields. This role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physically capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Keep store clean, including restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
