Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Hamtramck store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, and help maintain a clean, stocked, and welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishing stock, and ensuring safe, respectful interactions with customers and team members. The role is part-time and requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and restocking.
