Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Fortuna, CA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions, and help keep the store welcoming and organized.

This role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maintain friendly, professional interactions. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, along with a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
