Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Wellsville, NY to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and replenish stock while supporting a safe and welcoming environment for customers and team members.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience. Part-time positions are available, with responsibilities including merchandise reception and basic store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. and meet demands of standing, walking, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
