Job summary

Dollar Tree in Marlboro Township, NJ is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred) and prior customer service experience. The role requires physical effort, strong communication, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and variance in duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
