Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Hillsborough, NJ to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and keep the store stocked and presentable.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, physical stamina for lifting 30–50 lbs, and the ability to follow instructions and work well with others. It is a part-time position with standard store hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Follow instructions and read operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms.
