Job summary

Dollar Tree in Kirkland, Washington is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, operate a cash register, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while providing friendly service.

This position requires reliable attendance, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hospitality, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship development skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with friendly interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and general presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
